Rain Rain Go Away

Its winter alright, no doubt about it. For a moment there, I thought this winter was actually going to be nice and mild. And it was, for a bit. I could spend weekends lazing in the sun with just shorts and a strappy top. Now, I'm freezing even with a coat, gloves and scarf. I don't know what to make of the weather; but does anyone? I don't even know if I'm really looking that much forward to summer. All I can really think of is 40 degree heat. Which still isn't very appealing.

On another topic, my mom is coming to Perth this Friday. It will be good to see her again, only I still haven't lost the weight I put on when she was last here. Ah, the glory, the delight of not having to prepare my own dinners. I actually like cooking but it gets a bit of a bother when I've been working all day.

I feel the need to shop. I don't really want anything particular and I sure as hell don't need anything. But I just want to look at pretty htings and maybe aquire something new. *sigh* Some people say shopping is a disorder. I'm sure I'm not as bad as that. But it does do wonders to perk one up.
