On this rainy day...

Its a normal day at work. By normal, I mean I have roughly 2 hours (max) of work time. The rest, I do my own thing. Its all good. If only it weren't so cold in here. I still have my coat and scarf on. Wonder how I'll feel when I finally step outside.

I tried sending a video file to myself at work so I can view it whenever I want. Sometimes you just want that lift when you're at work and there's nothing better than having the entire office stare at you because you're laughing so hard. Hey, its only envy. But yeah, my cat was being very funny. Sadly, we only have Windows Media Player here. So, no video.

Last night Scott and I went to The Oyster Bar on the Foreshore for dinner. Amazing food, if I do say so myself. For anyone who enjoys their seafood, I recommend a visit. Incidentally, as of yesterday, we've been together for 1 year and 4 months. Permit me an ear to ear grin at this moment.

I'm looking forward to the weekend. Somehow sleeping in has become one of my favourite things to do. Actually, no surprise there. Smudge wakes me up way too early toget up but way too late to continue sleeping if I actually want to make it up without feeling like death warmed over. He has a thing for faces. Sleeping on them.

I also turn 25 in 2 1/2 weeks. I'll officially be halfway to middle-age. *sigh* No, I don't actually mind it. I'd much prefer being my age now than a few years younger. Strange how things that seemed so dire then now seems so inconsequential. Here's to growing up!
